Together, the four of us decided that we would work together to all lose weight with the winner loosing the largest percentage of weight. The doctor didn't order this...we did. Well the doctor told all of us that we needed to lose weight to achieve some of the other goals of getting our chloresterol under control. But because that will require more that a few weeks to make any changes, weight is the easiest thing to track.
I've chosen to walk 30 minutes a day for 3- 4 times each week,m while at the same time eat less and better at mealtime...and perhaps just as important is watching the snack intake. I really think that I am already beginning to feel the effects of this new routine and getting my head around it, too. I am glad I volunteered for this group because there is power in the group. Any of you who are keeping up on our blogs, could consider yourself part of group and see what you can do if you feel that you need to improve your own health.
