For those who can't, the LRH Respiratory Care Department has specially trained caregivers who can help patients living with breathing problems.

With advances in technology, the Respiratory Care staff can quickly help physicians make a diagnosis using tests to measure lung capacity, heart rhythm, brain wave function, sleep abnormalities and by making oxygen and lung assessments.

Respiratory Care can be available outside the hospital through Lake Region's Home Health Care Services. They also help prevent respiratory problems through education on asthma, emphysema and smoking cessation so we can all breathe easier.
