The Bridgeway Care staff and physicians understand that few people want to talk about mental illness. Yet one in five of us will need professional help with a mental health problem at some time in our life.

Bridgeway Care at Lake Region Hospital is here to provide uncomplicated access to comprehensive mental health services. This 14-bed facility allows patients and family to spend time in a positive environment where the staff focuses on individual needs of patients. Patients on Bridgeway have private rooms. They share a kitchen, living room and community room.

Treatment at Bridgeway is “high touch” medicine that focuses on the person as an individual. Modern medicines allow physicians to better treat certain conditions than even five years ago. Building trust, education about their illnesses and promoting a quick return to their regular living environment are key factors to their successful treatment. Stays at Bridgeway range from a night to a few weeks.

The Bridgeway team of mental health professionals works with one goal in mind — to provide each patient with quality care in a timely way.
