Lake Region Center for Rehabilitation has a caring and warm facility. The staff, including licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists, is award-winning.

Included in our specialized medical staff, we have a physiatrist, Dr. James Andrews, who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, including prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal and neurologic systems. The most important point to keep in mind is that you do have a choice.

Our Center for Rehabilitation provides services for people who have suffered functional loss due to a disabling illness or injury. Our program consists of rehabilitation in an inpatient setting with comprehensive services. The staff works with each patient in a rigorous program to help each patient attain their greatest level of independence.

Potential candidates are patients who, as a result of injury or illness, have difficulties, which may include:

Balance and coordination problems

Difficulty swallowing

Difficulty moving in bed or from one place to another

Weakness or limited motion in arms, legs, or trunk

Difficulty performing activities of daily living such as eating, grooming, dressing, bathing and home-making

Memory difficulties

Speech or language problems.

Lake Region Center for Rehabilitation welcomes referrals from doctors, social workers, family members, insurance representatives, case managers, and patients themselves.
