Bridgeway Care Unit
Choosing a behavioral health care provider is a very personal and important decision. Clients who come to Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) find hope, understanding, and improved health as they face illnesses like anxiety, depression or other related mental health disorders.
Bridgeway Care at LRH is here to provide uncomplicated access to comprehensive mental health services. Bridgeway has been in operation since 1988, giving you the experience you can count on in your time of need. This 14-bed facility allows patients and family to spend time in a positive environment where the staff focuses on patients' individual needs. Patients at Bridgeway have private rooms, but are still able to interact through a shared kitchen, living room and community room.
Treatment at Bridgeway is "high-touch" medicine that focuses on the person as an individual. Building trust, education about an individual's illnesses and promoting a quick return to a regular living environment are key factors to successful treatment. Stays at Bridgeway can range from one night to a few weeks.
Bridgeway provides specialized care for:
- Adolescents (14 years of age or older).
- Adults.
- Senior citizens.
With such a limited number of inpatient mental health facilities in our area, LRH is proud to offer the high-quality and holistic care that can benefit both the mind and body.
Treatment may include:
- Physical exam.
- Mental health assessments.
- Social history.
- Individual therapy.
- Group therapy.
- Family therapy.
- Medication.
- Education.
- Occupational therapy.
- Daily structure.
Our staff of experienced mental health care professionals work as a team with one goal in mind—to improve the health and quality of life, emphasize abilities rather than disabilities and promote independence.
