When seconds count, Lake Region Healthcare's Emergency Department staff is ready to react quickly and provide the highest quality of care. The staff members works very diligently to ensure that patients receive the lifesaving medical care they need. In addition to trauma and life support training, Emergency Department staff members have training in basic cardiology and advanced cardiac life support.
To be able to more quickly serve our surrounding area in case of emergency, LRH has both ambulance and helipad services. We want our patients in the best hands as quickly as possible. The helipad as well as an additional ambulance bay, was renovated in January 2007.
