Sports Medicine Education Series Event: Adult & Child CPR/AED for coaches & student managers
05/02/2018 2:50 PM (CDT)
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO MAY 2nd
On behalf of Lake Region Health Care Sports Medicine and Fergus Falls Community Education, we would like to invite all coaches and student managers to attend our first annual Sports Medicine education series on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 in the Roosevelt Education Center, Community Education, 340 Friberg Avenue, Fergus Falls.
This year, we will be addressing CPR training with AED. Cost will be $36.50 per person, which will be offset by a first ever $500.00 grant given to us by the Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association. In the event you are already CPR certified, we are also offering a taping and bracing lab, including an illustrated book to take back to your schools for future reference.
We have discovered there is a significant need for area coaching personnel to be CPR/AED certified, as well as versed in preventative taping and bracing, Due to the overwhelming request for these and many other topics, we are offering these to all involved with athletics. Please respond to firstname.lastname@example.org (or call 218-998-0544, ext. 9200) by Monday, April 30th, 2018 to register for the CPR class; and to email@example.com to place your name on the taping session roster.
Listed below are details for the upcoming training date for Adult and Child CPR/AED. Hands-on skill assessment; no written test required.
