Volunteer opportunities
Volunteers are an important part of the Lake Region Healthcare team, and it's easy to get started. General orientation and specific training are provided prior to assignments. The volunteer services coordinator will meet with new volunteers to discuss the areas of service in which they are interested.
Adult volunteer shifts are available weekdays during daytime hours and are flexible to fit into busy schedules.

Summer Junior Volunteer Program
The Summer Junior Volunteer Program is a thirteen-week program for students in seventh grade through graduation. Junior volunteers get the opportunity to make a difference in their community by working in a variety of focus areas including Mill Street, Lake Region Takes Root Community Garden and LRH summer events. Along with these activities, volunteers will choose a special project to be completed throughout the summer. At the conclusion of the program, participants receive a certificate documenting completion.
