Move, Play, and Create

Move, Play, and Create is an active and creative opportunity for students in grades K - 4. This 4-day a week program will include three days of active instruction and one day of creative instruction. The Move, Play, and Create after-school program is an effort to engage young people in a program that will have a positive impact on their overall well-being.

Daily sessions will be structured helping kids create goals by allowing them to grow and create. Program instructors are professionals in their fields and will support the kids by teaching, showing, and motivating. Move, Play, and Create is a 16-week program starting Tuesday, September 4, 2018 and runs through Thursday, December 20, 2018.

Move, Play, and Create Information

Move, Play, and Create is a collaborative effort between Lake Region Healthcare Wellness and the Kaddatz Art Program. Children in this program will receive instruction from professionals.

Move & Play - On Monday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's the children will receive movement instruction from a certified coach. The coach will engage the kids in movement through play. On movement days, kids are asked to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Create - On Tuesday's instructors from the Kaddatz Art Program will engage the children in creative expression. The children do not need to bring any supplies. One Tuesday per month yoga instructor, Wendy Billie, will instruct a yoga class.

What to bring:

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: healthy snack, comfortable shoes, comfortable clothes

Tuesday: healthy snack and creativity!
