The wellness dimension of Financial Health - "Being Smart with Your Money" – will be the topic of Lake Region Healthcare's (LRH) Living Well community education series on Monday, April 17th at the Fergus Falls Main Clinic.

Featured speakers include Nick Heydt, Attorney Pemberton Law and Gail Childs, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones.

Heydt will address estate planning and preparation. He is intricately involved in drafting complex estate plans and business succession plans, including the formation of family trusts and limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships, in addition to drafting insurance trusts.

Childs will provide information related to fiscal health and the influence of inflation on your long term goals. She has more than 15 years of experience in the industry helping clients understand and meet their financial goals.

"This is a great opportunity to learn about improving your financial health and how doing so can improve your overall health," said LRH Wellness Director, Natalie Knutson. "In addition, April 16th is Healthcare Decisions Day, so we will be providing Advance Care Planning education and forms at this event as well," she added.

The Living Well educational forums are held the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. from September through May. The education series is designed to offer a broad range of information on health related topics to address all seven components of Wellness.

The April session will be held on Monday, April 17th from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the new Main Clinic Lobby at 111 West Vernon Ave. in Fergus Falls.

All Living Well sessions are free and open to the public, but registration is requested to plan for refreshments. Call 218.736.8699 or email livingwell@lrhc.org for information or to register.
