Meal Planning for Stress Relief Topic of 1stSession
(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) – Kary Sytsma, a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Nutritionand Dietetic Technician, will be the featured speaker in the first Living Well Education Series for the season sponsored by Lake Region Healthcare (LRH).
“We are excited to bring back our series for a third year,” said Natalie Knutson, Wellness Director at LRH. “Expanding on our community health challenge from last year and our ongoing efforts to help people in our region improve their health in all seven dimensions of wellness, this year’s education series will aim to offer practical insights and expert advice for living healthier lives. Our first topic, meal planning, is something everyone can use help with” she said.
“Whether you are a busy family on the go or retired and enjoying the golden years,planning healthy meals can be a stressful task,” Systma said. “My session on the 17this designed to take some of the stress out of meal planning by helping you strategize weekly menus and shopping lists while also being intention about increasing the nutritional value of your meals,” she added.
The Living Well educational forums are held the third Monday of each month at 5:45pm from September through May. The education series is designed to offer a broad range of information on health-related topics to address all seven components of Wellness.
The September session will be held on Monday, September 17thfrom 5:45 to 7pm in the LRH Main Clinic Lobby at 111 West Vernon Ave. in Fergus Falls.
