Biography

Lake Region Healthcare welcomed Aaron Lindstrom, NP, to the growing team of orthopedic specialists in 2013.

He is part of the orthopedic team focused on providing better access to orthopedic care and excellence in orthopedic treatments and surgeries. Prior to joining Lake Region Healthcare, Aaron worked at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota.

Originally from Frazee, MN, Aaron received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, North Dakota. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice at North Dakota State University, Fargo, North Dakota.

Aaron is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

With several years of experience as an orthopedic Nurse Practitioner, Aaron brings great enthusiasm for providing orthopedic care to all age groups and activity levels. His treatment philosophy aligns particularly well with Lake Region Healthcare’s core values and our new Joint Care Center. “I believe patient education and shaping the treatment plan to the individual’s unique needs and goals are the key to a good outcome,” Lindstrom said. “The (LRH) staff’s commitment to patient care, the organization, and the community was obvious (when I interviewed), and I wanted to be part of that experience,” he added.

Lindstrom also has previous health care experience in inpatient psychiatry, inpatient medical surgical floor including orthopedics, and in the emergency department.

Aaron is married to Kasey Lindstrom who is also from Frazee, MN and they have two children. His personal interests include spending time outdoors with my family both on the water and in the woods, attending my children’s activities, mountain biking, and skiing (on the water and snow).
