Biography
Andre Généreux, MD, FACP, serves as one of our Internal Medicine physician hospitalists. He's been with Lake Region Healthcare since 2018.
Dr. Généreux received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, ND. He completed his residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, and holds undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Concordia College in Moorhead. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and also holds a certification in Internal Medicine Point of Care Ultrasonography.
Dr. Généreux is originally from Wahpeton, ND, and enjoys practicing medicine close to home. “I chose to join the team at LRH because I was looking to serve a rural community. LRH is a solid healthcare system full of great people and a wholesome patient population. Fergus Falls is also located in an area that my wife and I enjoy spending our free time in,” he said.
His professional interests are in the areas of quality care, clinical education, and bedside ultrasound. Dr. Généreux also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
He is married to Brittany and in his spare time he enjoys tennis, hockey, and home improvement projects.
