Biography
Lake Region Healthcare welcomed Carrie Affield, PA-C to our team of medical professionals at the Barnesville Area Clinic in 2014.
A graduate of West Fargo High School, she received her Associate Degree in Nursing from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and minor in Child Development from North Dakota State University, and her Master Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
Previously, Carrie has worked at MeritCare and Essentia in Fargo, ND, and most recently at Sanford Clinic in Pelican Rapids, MN.
Carrie has a broad base of knowledge from working in Pediatrics, PICU, NICU, PACU, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, Hospice, Home Health, and Public Health during her 17 years of nursing. As a Physician Assistant, her expertise is in Family Medicine to care for people from birth to death for health maintenance, and acute and chronic illness.
