Biography

Lake Region Healthcare is pleased to welcome Genie Loeffler, Nurse Practitioner (NP) to our team of psychiatry providers in the Fergus Falls clinic location starting in October of 2020.

Loeffler is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with education and training treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University in Moorhead and both an Associate Degree in Nursing and Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls, MN.

She has been a part of the Lake Region Healthcare team as a Registered Nurse since 2006. For the past 7 years she has worked as the Clinical Coordinator for the Bridgeway Behavioral Health Care Unit here at Lake Region Healthcare. Prior experience includes direct psychiatric nursing care working for the State of Minnesota with the serious and persistently mentally ill adult population, as well as working with the child and adolescent population providing both psychiatric and chemical dependency nursing care.

Loeffler is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive and quality mental health services to both adolescents and adults.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, traveling, reading.
