Biography
Dr. Jason Glynn joined the Lake Region Healthcare team of professionals in August 2010.
Originally from Fergus Falls, Dr. Glynn received his undergraduate degree in Medical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University – Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. His orthopedic surgery residency was done at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at SOAR (Sports Orthopedics and Rehabilitation) in Redwood City, California.
Dr. Glynn is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). He enjoys taking care of a broad range of orthopedic patients, but particularly enjoys taking care of athletes, anywhere from “weekend warriors” to high school and college athletes. He has been a speaker at national meetings about the innovative pain control techniques used at Lake Region Healthcare after total joint replacement and he serves as Director of the LRH Joint Care Center. He also serves as the chair of the Surgical and Invasive Procedures Committee.
Dr. Glynn and his wife, Cassandra, have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and sports (particularly hockey, water skiing, and triathlon), both as a spectator and a participant.
