Biography
Lake Region Medical Group welcomed Katie Bressler, MD to our Fergus Falls clinic in 2022. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Bressler works with patients of all ages, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, pregnant, adult, and geriatric patients. She has additional training in operative delivery. Her breadth includes LGBTQ+ care (including transgender medicine), women’s health, and serving patients with addiction (including medication management of opioid and alcohol use disorders). She is fluent in Spanish.
She finds joy in being able to have continuity of care with her patients and meeting them where they are at for their health goals. Originally from Duluth, MN, Dr. Bressler graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish. In college, she studied abroad for a year in Quito, Ecuador, where she interned at a maternity hospital, sparking an early interest in primary care and women’s health. She completed medical school at the University of Minnesota, residency at the Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program, and obstetrics fellowship at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho-Boise/Full Circle Health.
Like her scope of practice, Dr. Bressler also has a tough time narrowing her interests outside of work. She loves to spend time outside with her husband Pat and two rescue dogs, Rebel and Chester. Hobbies include running, hiking, camping, canoeing, cycling, reading, and knitting.

Dr. Bressler is currently accepting patients under age 50 for primary care and obstetrics care.
