Biography
Lake Region Healthcare welcomed Katie Martin, Family Nurse Practitioner to our primary care team at the Barnesville Area Clinic in the fall of 2019.
Katie received her Master of Science Degree from the University of North Dakota and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Minot State University.
Katie has past experience in hospice care, stroke education, and medical/surgical inpatient care.
Originally from Wahpeton, she joined the Barnesville Area Clinic team and the Barnesville Community because of the small-town atmosphere and the ability to care for families and patients of all ages.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids on their hobby farm. She loves animals of all kinds, enjoys cooking, card and board games, and has a green belt in Tae Kwon Do.
