Biography
Kelley Mikkelson joined our medical staff in the fall of 2019.
Kelley received her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree at Walden University in Minneapolis after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Bemidji State University.
Most recently she served as a Psychiatric RN, BSN at the Community Behavioral Health Hospital in Alexandria, and also held Nursing positions at Alomere Health and Prairie Community Services in Alexandria.
She is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has a particular interest in women's health, mental health, and preventive medicine. Kelley offers the GeneSight® Psychotropic test, a cheek swab that can help determine which anti-depressants may not be tolerated by patients based on their genetics to potentially speed up the process of identifying effective medications.
Her personal interests include traveling, being on the lake, camping, and time with family.
