Leah earned her Master of Communication Disorders degree from the University of South Carolina in 2017. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Leah enjoys working with patients of a variety of ages and generally works with the pediatric outpatient and adult inpatient populations at Lake Region and Prairie Ridge. Leah continues to invest hours into continuing her education in the areas of feeding and swallowing, receptive/expressive and social language, cognition, articulation, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She has completed the STAR Autism Support Program training and is able to implement the STAR program into therapy sessions. Additionally, she is certified in SOS feeding therapy and has completed continuing education for administration of the pediatric ImPACT.
Leah and her husband, Gus, have a dog named Duke. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball, gardening, and traveling.
