Biography
Dr. Naomi Schmid, Podiatrist, has been a member of our medical staff since 2013. She currently serves as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for the organization.
Dr. Schmid received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2010 at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. She completed post-graduate residency and served as Chief Resident of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery Credentials at the Providence Hospital & Health Center in Southfield, MI.
Dr. Naomi Schmid is joined by her husband, Dr. Stephen Schmid in offering a full spectrum of Podiatry services at Lake Region Healthcare. As a team they offer comprehensive treatment of forefoot, rear foot, and ankle problems as well as reconstructive surgery.
She is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the Minnesota Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. She is also Board Certified through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Originally from Montana, Naomi now feels at home at Lake Region Healthcare and its small town community. She and Steve are closer to family in Minnesota and are enjoying establishing their family here. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading and baking.
