Orthopedics and sports medicine

At Lake Region Healthcare, we offer a full range of orthopedic medicine and surgery services to help you get back to the activities you enjoy.

Our orthopedic surgeons treat immediate (acute) and chronic muscle, bone and joint concerns.

We strive to use the most current nonsurgical and surgical treatments available. We treat arthritis of the knee, hip and shoulder using the latest techniques in joint replacement and joint preservation, including partial knee replacement and osteotomy. Knee ligament injuries and meniscus tears—as well as common shoulder problems, including impingement/bursitis, instability (dislocations) and rotator cuff tears—are treated arthroscopically. We treat a variety of fractures, including common injuries to the wrist, ankle and hip.

Lake Region Healthcare was one of the first hospitals in the area to use cutting-edge technology, like patient-specific instrumentation (PSI), to streamline your knee replacement surgery. In fact, we were the fifth hospital in the nation to use PSI for partial knee replacements. Read the complete story.

We use the latest regional anesthesia techniques and multimodal pain control methods to make your surgery and recovery as comfortable as possible. Our team of therapists is committed to your speedy recovery and getting you back to living the lifestyle you desire. Our Joint Care Center was launched to cater to the specific needs of joint replacement patients and to ensure an excellent experience.

The goal of our orthopedic specialists is to make sure you have all the information you need to feel comfortable with your treatment plan and make sure all your questions are answered. You will be given exceptional treatment and the individual attention you deserve. We are here to make sure your experience is as pleasant as can be and we hope you will give us the chance to prove that our team is one you would recommend to your friends and family.
